I found an old vhs player in storage and i want to use it to record some parts to old tapes, playing said recordings on the vhs player and then recording the output back in to logic/ableton.
the trouble is the i/o options are fairly limited on the vhs player.
Input : coax (pic of an antenna next to it)
Output1 : scart (unmarked)
Output2 : coax (says 'tv' next to it)
Im pretty sure i could find a scart to rca adapter but im wondering if anyone has experience going rca -> coax/antenna input.?
thanks for your help

what about one of those old playstation scart connectors that had just the scart connector with red white and yellow rca connections on it?
wouldn't that work?
if i hadn't thrown out my old vhs i'd have tested my theory for you
here's a diagram to show you the bits used

can't find a pic of the scart thing i was talking about _________________ “Right now, everything sounds like a fat child throwing a Casio keyboard down a flight of stairs and hitting an old man at the bottom who's playing Verve songs badly on an over-priced guitar,” |
