looks like it's probably down the alley of most peeps here.
what shits me about this guy is how effortlessly he comes up with a cool sounding beat + melody...he just drags notes around, not even listening to what they sound like and out pops a perfectly timed (in an untimed kind of way) interesting chord progression, melody or beat....wanker! i labour for hours/days to do something he could put together straight off the top of his head.. hehe ah well

That was interesting, its obviously not that random as he has most likely working that way on the same style of music for x number of years now.

didn't mean he did it randomly, just that he seems to have a very good grasp of making the sounds he wants in a visual way in the sequencer without having to fumble around/play them out first. I know composers have been doing this for years (it's not like you usually have a symphony handy while you play with ideas to see if they work), but it's a skill i would definitely love to develop
